The Events and Conferences Working Group


Consists of AUIDF three members, who are responsible for making decisions regarding the Australia Universities Pavilion and selecting venues for the Australia Universities Reception at NAFSA, APAIE and EAIE.  


The Benchmarking Working Group 

 
Consists of two AUIDF members and other nominated university staff.  The group developed the consultancy contracts and assists with the coordination of the questionnaires, data collection and reporting of three key annual benchmarking studies – Benchmarking International Operations (BiO), Benchmarking Learning Abroad (BLA) and Benchmarking Public Domain (BPD).  Findings are presented at international conferences and quoted in media

 


AUIDF Tracy McCabe Future Leaders Fellowship


The Tracy McCabe Future Leader Fellowship’s selection panel consists of four AUIDF members. The panel coordinated the promotion and selection of the annual award, which is named after a former chair of the AUIDF.  The A$7,000 fellowship is to support an emerging leader’s professional development and career progression in international education.

 

The Mentoring Working Group 


Consists of two members and a selected university staff member who developed the framework for the mentoring program and recruited and matched mentors and mentees. The program, being delivered in 2019, aims to foster the development of middle managers in international offices.

 


The AUIDF Research Group


Consists of three AUIDF members who identify gaps and manage the commissioning of research in areas of interest. Due to the success of an AUIDF Employability Research project in 2017, the Research Group worked with the Australian Department of Education to develop a further survey, which was in the field in 2018.
